THE IMPACT

Bernard Kersh filed a civil rights lawsuit against the City of Chicago and the officers who body-slammed and almost killed Bernard in November of 2019. The officers were stripped of their police powers and an investigation was initiated by the Civilian Office of Police Accountability.
